SUMMER CAMP 2024 - THREE DIFFERENT CAMPS HAPPENING THIS YEAR. DETAILS BELOW:
All summer camps will run from the week of June 24th - July 29th (Week of July 4th is off)
NATURE CREATIVE WRITING : During these five weeks kids will explore and discuss:
How is nature used in haiku poems?
How does nature inspire us to awaken our senses and express emotions through words?
What are the elements within a story that makes it interesting to write and read?
What are characters? How can I create one, two or many?
These explorations will allow children to give them the tools, understandings and confidence to create two projects: writing their own haiku poem and a comic booklet.
Limited spaces: 12 kids.
CREATIVE FORM DRAWING - Ages 4 and up : Waldorf inspired drawing for the children who are not ready to write yet. This type of creative drawing helps the child to develop hand-eye coordination, spatial orientation, confident movement and foundation skills for hand writing. Limited spaces: 6 kids.
Both classes will meet at the same day/ time:
Huntington Beach Area: Mondays from 10:00am - 2:00pm
Irvine Area: Wednesday from 10:00am - 2:00pm
Cost: $280.
DISCOVER COLOR WITH NATURE : During these 5 weeks we will use nature to create our watercolors and nature dye prints. Huntington Beach Area: Thursdays from 10:00am - 2:00pm Cost: $280 Limited spaces: 12 kids

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Pencil, colored pencils or markers, a blank drawing book and a Yoga Mat
Each student should bring a lunch box and a water bottle that they can open and close independently. Please make sure your child wears weather appropriate clothing and shorts under skirts/dresses.
Summer Camp Details:
Camp Begins: The week of June 26, 2023 to July 31, 2023
Ages: 4yo - 12yo (Will be separated in two groups, 4-5 and 6-12)
Mondays from 10am to 2pm (Huntington Beach/ Seal Beach Area)
Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm (South Irvine Area)
Locations: Different Natural Parks/Beaches around above areas. Locations will be provided upon registration.
This is a drop-off camp. Parents are welcomed to stay.
